Los Angeles NFL Stadium

Los Angeles, California, US

A proposal for a downtown NFL stadium that would primarily be an addition to the adjacent convention center.  By setting the playing field of the football stadium at 40 ft. below the sidewalk, a connection can be made to the existing convention center and at the same time create a major plaza that leads directly to the nearby Blue Line Transit Stop.  This stadium is intended to utilize the emerging transit system throughout the city as much as possible.  The Architecture is a statement for the downtown and is cognizant that it is literally on one of the most visible sites in the City as viewed from the 110 freeway and as such has a very important impact on the city beyond its function.
